Technology

CEREC Primescan

The CEREC Primescan is an advanced dental technology that revolutionizes the traditional process of obtaining dental impressions. With its cutting-edge optical scanning system, the Primescan captures highly accurate and detailed 3D images of patients’ teeth and gums in a matter of seconds. This eliminates the need for messy and uncomfortable traditional impression materials. The Primescan’s precision allows the team at Integrated Dental Arts to produce custom restorations like crowns and veneers in-house, reducing waiting time and improving overall treatment efficiency for patients. Its speed, accuracy, and convenience make it a game-changer in modern dentistry.

3D Cone Beam

Oftentimes, a traditional X-Ray isn’t enough to get the full context of how we can help you, which is where we take the next steps in getting a deeper understanding of how your oral health looks from the inside. 3D Cone Beam technology uses computer tomography to capture the bone structure, muscles, and jaw that comprise your face. The 3D output of the image means our dentists can see the detail needed to allow for better treatment planning.

3D Printer

You may have heard of 3D printing which uses a computer to sculpt advanced materials into highly precise shapes you can use in the real world. In dentistry, 3D printing technology is launching its own mini-revolution. In using our 3D printer, we are able to produce restorations with precise customization and high-quality fabrication, ensuring a better fit. This technology enables the in-house production of various dental appliances, such as crowns, bridges, and orthodontic aligners.

Guided Biofilm Therapy

Dental cleanings often involve the uncomfortable process of removing plaque, also known as dental biofilm, from the teeth and below the gumline. However, there are now innovative therapies available that eliminate the need for traditional tools, providing a more comforting experience for patients. The team at Integrated Dental Arts received advanced training and education in Guided Biofilm Therapy, allowing us to incorporate this technique into our standard of care. Guided Biofilm Therapy offers a gentle yet thorough cleaning method that can be truly transformative, particularly for individuals who have always feared dental visits and the discomfort associated with traditional cleaning tools.

The Wand

At Integrated Dental Arts, we prioritize your comfort and convenience during treatments. That’s why we utilize The Wand’s computer-guided anesthetics for localized procedures. Unlike traditional methods that involve numbing the entire mouth, The Wand allows us to provide precise anesthesia to a single tooth. This not only saves time but also ensures that multiple areas can be addressed more efficiently. Moreover, the anesthesia wears off faster from the patient’s perspective, allowing you to resume your daily activities without prolonged discomfort.

Digital Sensors

Our small digital sensors allow us to take x-rays of a patient’s mouth — without the hassle of needing to wear a heavy x-ray vest. With less radiation and better imaging, it’s no secret why digital sensors are our “go-to” imaging system of choice for routine x-rays.
